The Katvalas added a 3-car garage to their log
home estate this spring. It is built using the
same system as the home with full round 6” logs,
tongue and groove, Swedish cope and thru-bolt
with springs. It makes for a sturdy warm
garage. The possibility for additional space
above could be extended living space. There
were enough logs left over for the next project
after this.....a sauna behind the house. The Messmer’s
Log Formula has been applied to the lower photos
in the same finish as the home. Super
sturdy
and a long term return on a reasonable
